It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert M. Barut of Prospect Heights, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 19, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Barut and Marie Barut; his grandson Corey Woods; and his close friend Cheryl McNeil. He is survived by: his children, Robert Barut Jr. (Linda), Wendy Barut and Julianne Barut-Woods (Gerald); his grandchildren, Michael, Ryan Woods and Joshua Kilgore (Margo); and his former wife Carolyn Barut.
