With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laverne Julianne Altmaier of Prospect Heights, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on July 15, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Frank Charles Altmaier; her parents, Herbert George Henson and Agnes Amanda Henson; her sister Elaine Carolyn Gross; her children, Charles Walker Altmaier and Janet Leslie Gustison; her grandchildren, Morgan and Hannah; her child Leslie Amanda Buchanan (John Craig Buchanan); her grandsons, Alex, James and Ben; her great grandchildren, Andrew, Monica and Kevin; and also, Annette Altmaier, Walker and Eli. She was also cherished by her daughters, grandchildren.

The family suggests that memorial donations may be made to Huntington's Disease Society of America.
