With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Katie M Shawke of Prospect Heights, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 28, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph C Mabus and Maureen Matheson; her grandparents, Norman, Theresa Mabus, Sylvia and Stanley Matheson; her mother-in-law Nancy Shawke; and her aunts, Nora and Diane.

She is survived by: her significant other Thomas Shawke; her stepchildren, Katy and Billy Shawke; her pet Louie; and her siblings, Vanessa Leitza, Elaine Lawther and Joe Mabus.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the All Saints Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
