It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. O'Connor of Prospect Heights, Illinois, who passed away on June 15, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles O'Connor and Vera O'Connor; his wife Jacquelyn; his siblings, John O'Connor and Patricia Campion; and his close friend Sue Milburn.

He is survived by: his children, Patrick O'Connor (Diane) and Kelly Emmerling (Don); his grandchildren, Jim O'Connor (MaryClare), Katelyn Lykins (Payton) and David Emmerling; his great grandchild Danny O'Connor; his nephew Timothy Campion (Mary); and his niece Ellen Schwertfeger (Steve).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
