We are sad to announce that on November 13, 2024, at the age of 89, Shirley A. Hunter of Prophetstown, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Shirley farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Shirley is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hayden Kaslo and Nellie Kaslo (Butcher); her spouse Russell Hunter; and her sister Sylvia Puntarec. She is survived by: her children, Michael Hunter (Jan) of Prophetstown, Linda Farley (Tom) of Marshalltown, IA and Brian Hunter (Tracey) of Trophy Club, TX. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.
