She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie E. Lear and Carolyn Lear (Zettelmeier); her husband Virgil F. Plautz; and her brothers, Leslie, Robert, Keith and Jim.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rebekah Emery (Drew) and Jennifer Cramer (Brian); her grandchildren, Sean Pratt (Rylee), Stephanie Wankerl (Ian), Brett Emery, Christopher Gibson, Brayden Gibson, Bryanna Gibson, Gary Shorrow, Maya Cramer and Connor Cramer; her siblings, Marge Brandt and John Lear (June); and her sisters-in-law, Elma Lear and Ulla Lear. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church (300 W 3rd St, Prophetstown, IL 61277). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in her memory to the First Lutheran Church.
