He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaylord E. Olinger and Norma M. Olinger (Upton); his stepfather Donald Scott; and his brother Perry Olinger. He is survived by: his wife Beth A. Combs; his son Gabe Olinger (Nicole) of Prophetstown; and his grandchildren, Gavin and Avery Olinger.
