VanDyke (Chelsie) of Prophetstown, IL and Angela M. Appleman (Donnie) of Ocala, FL; his grandsons, Gavin, Brevin VanDyke, Eli and Jake Appleman; and his sister Cindy L. Ries (Art) of Geneseo, IL..

Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church (300 E 3rd St, Prophetstown, IL 61277). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

A memorial has been established for the Prophetstown Eclipse Square Veterans Memorial Park.
