He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Brown and Juanita Brown (McDonald); and his sister Sandy Marshall. He is survived by: his wife Mary Piatkowski; his son Robert C. Brown, Jr. (Michele); his grandson Clark Brown; and his siblings, Donna Oncken (Larry) and Gerald Brown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers and memorial gifts, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
