She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Barrett and Laura Barrett (Worsfold); her husband Edwin Begner; and her siblings, Wilma Bouton, Thelma Begner, Lavonia Harlan, Loretta Mille, Leatha Taylor, Willis, Warren and Walter Barrett.

She is survived by: her nieces, Diana Streitmatter of Galva, Mary Jane Mitchell of Hanna City, Helen Harlan of Wyoming and Joann Lempke of Kewanee; and her nephew Glen Huffman of Princeville.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors Project or the A.R.K. in Lacon .
