Tanney of Princeville, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on June 17, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo M. Tanney and Grace A. Tanney (Kelly). He is survived by: his siblings, Ed Tanney (Karen) of Princeville, Thomas Tanney (Bev) of Dunlap, Donald Tanney (Crystal) of Normal and Mary Ann Skuba (Peter) of Normal; and his friends, Diner and Jubilee Café. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church.
