He is survived by: his parents, Edward R. and Ida Kuntz (Gudeman); his spouse Sara Lou Diefenthaler; his children, Daniel Kuntz (Jan) of Sycamore, Sheryl Bardell of Pekin, Robert Kuntz (Karen) of Richmond and Nancy Rabbitt (Mike) of Springfield; his siblings, Donald Kuntz of Streator and Mary Lou Dobat of Michigan; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Kuntz of Princeville.
