It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia S Nelson (Princeton, Illinois), born in Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away on April 17, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl N. Swan and Achsa J. Swan (Hayes); her husband Wilbur L. Nelson; and her brothers, Everette, John and Roger Swan.
She is survived by: her children, Wilbur "Bill" Nelson II (Lina) of Princeton, Beckie Dunshee (late Dave) of Henry, Beth Peacock (Rick) of Princeton, Barb Maubach (Bob) of Bloomington and Bonnie Nelson of Bloomington; her grandchildren, Todd Mutchler (Brenda), Matt Dunshee (Sabrina Higdon), Michele Kelly (Nathan), Aimee Kiesewetter (Jeremy), Amber Owens (Bryon), Jeremy Maubach, Jim Nelson (Mandy) and Molly Ackerman (Tyler); her great grandchildren, Kohl, Logan, Kylyn, Nolan, Lance, Jada, Jaxen, Josie, Quinn, Izzie, Emmy and Hailey; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Sydney, Brock and Sadee; her siblings-in-law, Judy Nelson, Joanne Swan, Dorothy Carver (Jerry), Flory Swan and Rex Nelick (Kathie); her sister Joanne Klingenberg; her son-in-law Dave Dunshee; and her great grandchild Jonah Maubach. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
