With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verden Baumgartner of Princeton, Illinois, born in Walnut, Illinois, who passed away on September 10, 2023 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Verden Baumgartner to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Baumgartner and Esther Baumgartner (King); and his brothers, Kenneth and Les. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Baumgartner of Princeton; his daughters, Shelly Grabill (Jeff), Deanne Andersen (Leslie Shaw) and Sheila Nielsen (Brent Nielsen); his sister Jane Harris; his grandchildren, Kaitlynn Grabill, Erica Bertelli (Matt), Jarron Andersen, Alex Nielsen, Drake Nielsen and Lauren Nielsen; and his great grandchildren, William Bertelli and Isabella Bertelli. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Wyanet V.F.W.

Pallbearers will be Jarron Andersen, Brent Nielsen, Jeff Grabill, Drake Nielsen, Kevin Baumgartner, Larry Baumgartner, Steve Baumgartner and Rick Barto.
