He is survived by: his former wife Deanna Williams Eckberg; his sons, Steven Pierce (Sandra Martinez) of Chicago, IL and Eric Pierce of Eagle, CO; his grandchildren, Renee Pierce and Alexander Pierce; his great grandchild Matthew; his sister Laurel Hampel (Fred); his stepchildren, Rick Eckberg (Leanne), Tim Eckberg, Randy Eckberg and Laura Schmied (CD); his stepgrandchildren, Dustin Eckberg (Lauren), Annalise Anderson (Evan), Lauren Eckberg (Brandon Teske), Derrick Eckberg (Kaelynn Geheber), Evan Eckberg, Olivia Eckberg, Hunter Lewis (Savanah Jensen), Von Holten of Montana and Ashlyn Schmied; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Sadie, Aaron, Dallas, Finn, Easton and Braxton.
