It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roland D Yelm of Princeton, Illinois, who passed away on September 16, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett B Yelm and Vida I Yelm (Munts); his wife Sarah Genevieve "Genny" Yelm; his grandson Cody D. Yelm; and his siblings, Betty Gibbs, Ada Faye Olin, Maime West and Merlin "Red" Yelm.
He is survived by: his sons, Charlie Yelm (Collette) of Princeton, IL and Curt Yelm (Charlotte) of Pingree Grove, IL; his grandchildren, Kathryn Sayler (Mike) and Michael Yelm (Whitney); his great grandchildren, Hayden, Harper, Hudson, Kennedy and Finley; and his brothers, Everett "Cowboy" Yelm (Lorna) and Earl "Dick" Yelm (Marlis).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Seatonville Community Church.
