He was predeceased by: his father Donald Houston. He is survived by: his children, Jenirose Houston (Sims), Lindsey Pistole (Mat) of Walnut, Ashlee Fitzpatrick (Eric) of Peru, Stacy Widuch (Joe) of Princeton, Chloe Sterling of LaSalle, Harley Sterling of Princeton and Rilee Sterling of Princeton; his grandchildren, Vienna, Cohen Fitzpatrick, Miles and Gabriel Widuch; his mother Jenirose Houston of Tiskilwa; and his siblings, Kevin Sterling (Nanette), Karina Prokes (Dave), Robin Johnsen (Rich) and Renea Robison (Bob). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made on behalf of the family to Lindsey Pistole.
