It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Neal Swan (Princeton, Illinois), born in Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away on June 12, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Swan and Achsa Swan (Hayes); his siblings, Everett Swan, John Swan and Joanne Klingenberg; and his brothers-in-law, Wilbur Nelson and Wilbur Klingenberg.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Swan; his children, Christy Gramer (Cal) of Princeton, IL., Tom Swan (Becky Pace) of Dekalb, IL., Tim Swan (Connie) of Westmont, IL. and Jennifer Merth (Robert) of Princeton, IL.; his grandchildren, Noah Grove (Michelle), Ethan Grove (Sarah Joynt), Andy Gramer (Brooke), Nicholas Merth (Amanda Hobson), Austin Swan, Conner Swan, Tiffany Grove (Kirk Schiebel), Carrie Predeger (Brook), Caley King (Chris), Chelsea Merth (Charles Labozzetta), Kylie Merth (Kyle Minden) and Carsen Swan; his great grandchildren, Matthew, Noah Jr., Jarred, Quillan, Mannix, Finn, Reid, Kira, Lina, Kaitlyn, Kamera, Verity and Cassidy; his sister Virginia Nelson; and his sisters-in-law, Flory Swan and Marcia Hudson (Bob). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Princeton High School or the First United Methodist Church.
