He was predeceased by: his parents, John Erickson and Tillie Erickson (Miller); his siblings, Russell Erickson (Thelma), Margaret Schaill (Richard), Alice Morris (Charlie Bob), Jack Erickson (Betty), Art Erickson, Minnie Shipp (Gordon), Helen Vaughn (Gary), Martha Hoffman (Dick) and Elsie Jackson (Bob); and his pet Rascal. He is also survived by 20 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to AJ's Fitness Center and Wellness Program at Liberty Village in Princeton.
