She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Dorothy Nickelsen (Brutcher) and Jack Nickelsen; her son Michael Mongan; her great grandchild Lacie Mongan; and her brother James Nickelsen.
She is survived by: her children, Marc Mongan (Michele) of Princeton, IL and Brenda Mongan of Kansas; her grandchildren, Christopher Mongan, Nichole Hagebush, Blake Underwood, Amber Underwood, Brittany Wright, Darrin Bentley, Kody Mongan and Kelsea Mongan; and her sisters, Donna Herzel (Rodney) of Idaho and Doris Clifford of Chatham, IL.. She is also survived by twelve Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to bureau County Senior Center.
