He was predeceased by: his mother Rosaria Taylor. He is survived by: his father Christopher Taylor; his wife Julie Schmitt (Schmitt); his children, Mindee Taylor, Nicole Kelly (Brian), Cara Taylor (Jessica), Caitlan Bierbaum (Jon) and Zachary Taylor; his grandchildren, Jaydyn Smith, Jeremy Smith, Jr., Justin Smith, Jaynee Smith, Calvin Hill, Nora Kelly, Aidan Taylor, Gavin Bierbaum, Richard Fink, Connor Fink, Luciano Bierbaum, Wren Bierbaum and Asher Bierbaum; his sister-in-law Yvonne Taylor; and his siblings, James Taylor (Rosie), Mary Taylor and Linda Beattie (Carl). He is also survived by 89 nieces and nephews who will remember their Papa and brother.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 4:45 PM to 5:00 PM at the Norberg Memorial Home, Inc. (701 E Thompson St, Princeton, IL 61356). Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Saint Patricks Catholic Church - Arlington (106 Church St, Arlington, IL 61312). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Arlington Cemetery - Arlington.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Legion, Flags of Freedom in Princeton or the Princeton Ambulance Service.
