With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Penny Lou Best in Princeton, Illinois, born in Streator, Illinois, who passed away on March 31, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irl Richards and Agnus Stonecypher (Jack Best); her sister Mary Ann Richards; and her son Jackie Von Ruden. She is survived by: her significant other Jack Best; her son Billy Jo Darm of Princeton; her grandchildren, Samatha Darm (Jade), Keshia Wenninger (Dan), Kayla Miller (John), Tasha Pullara (Brian), Tanya Dennis (Jim), Tara Sherwood (Mike) and Andes Matthew Darm; and her siblings, Darlene Buchanan and Larry Richards. She is also survived by 15 great grand children as well as several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for charitable distribution.
