He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Genslinger and Margorie Genslinger (Howard); his foster parents, John Taylor and Tina Taylor; and his wife Bonnie Grabill Genslinger.
He is survived by: his son Michael Genslinger (Marsha) of Princeton, IL; his grandchildren, Cory Griffin, Erica Sterling (Jon), Joe Genslinger (Terri) and Chad Genslinger (Rebecca); and his sister Linda "Toots" Cumpton. He is also survived by Seven great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Bonnie Genslinger Scholarship or the Malden Vets Club.
