He was predeceased by: his son Cole Bettasso; and his great grandchild Henry Vandy. He is survived by: his daughters, Michaelyn Bettasso Vandy (Frank) and Kailey Bettasso; his grandchildren, Francesca, Tessina, Siena Vandy, Kinley, Julian and Kingston Romejio; and his siblings, Frank, George Bettasso (Renee Comfort) and Janelle Bettasso.
Michael's organs and tissue were able to be donated through Gift of Hope, which provided a life altering gift to many recipients.
