We are sad to announce that on September 5, 2019, at the age of 100, Marian Ackerman (Princeton, Illinois), born in Manlius, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nels Peter and Marianne Christensen (Madsen); and her siblings, Nels, Adolph, Delbert Christensen, Ethel Schrader and Thyra Smith.
She is survived by: her former spouse Merle Marine; her husband Everett Ackerman; her children, Konrad Merle Marine (Kay) of Wayzata, Minn, Karl Kirby Marine (Judy) of Coal Valley and Laurel Smith of Colorado Springs, Colo.; her stepson Paul Arthur Ackerman (Judy) of Middleton, Del.; and her nephew Lyle Schrader (Barbara) of Walnut. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Evangelical Covenant Church or Union Cemetery.
