She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Miller and Hilda Miller (Lindgren); her husband Edwin Friend; her parents-in-law, Alex and Fannie Friend (Edwin Friend); her grandchildren, Christopher Friend and Madison Swan; her siblings, James Miller, Jerry Giles and Marion Johnson; and her son-in-law Bob Hultgren.
She is survived by: her son Dennis (Meri Lynn); her friends, Carol Hultgren of Dunlap, IL, Deb McDonald (Steve) of Princeton, IL and Connie Swan (Tim) of Westmont, IL.; her grandchildren, Tom Krager (Jennie) of Ocala, FL, Kamee Naugle of Dunlap, IL, Kory Smith (Samantha) of Tempe, AZ, Allison George of Phoenix, AZ, Austin Swan (Allison) of Boston, MA, Conner Swan of Chicago, IL and Carsen Swan of Chicago, IL; and her great grandchildren, Alex Naugle of Peoria, IL, Taylor Naugle of Dunlap, IL, Addilyn Smith of Tempe, AZ and Amelia Smith of Tempe, AZ. She is also survived by several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
