It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kristina Marie Giehl (Princeton, Illinois), who passed away on September 13, 2022, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Otto, Rose Giehl (Meismer), Victor and Florence Blunier (Tassart); and her aunts and uncles, Francis, Geraldine Giehl (Dietrich), Eugene, Joann Giehl (Clarence), Marvin "Bud", Rose Mary Huber (Giehl) and Joseph West.

She is survived by: her parents, Thomas J Giehl and Vicki F Giehl (Blunier); her aunt Bernadette West (Giehl); and her cousin Susan West. She is also survived by numerous cousins and many family friends.

In lieu of flowers, her final wish was that the memorials could be directed to Friends of Strays or the Princeton Theatre Groups, the nonprofit organization of Festival 56.
