He is survived by: his mother Carol Cartwright (Beyer) of Chadwick, IL; his wife Karin Cartwright of Princeton, IL; his children, Brandon Cartwright (Amelia) of Walnut, IL and Chase Cartwright (Sarah) of Wauwatosa, WI; his sister Angeline Krol (Kevin) of East Moline, IL; his stepchildren, Kaylyn Mahoney (Mike) of Rowlett, TX, Ben Charry, Leon Parsons IV of Saco, ME and Genevieve Charry of Dallas, TX; his grandchildren, Axel Cartwright, Lenora Mahoney and Conner Mahoney; his niece Haley Schindler (Nicholas) of East Moline, IL; and his cousin Donna Cartwright of Midland, MI..

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Norberg Memorial Home, Inc. (701 E Thompson St, Princeton, IL 61356). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Evangelical Covenant Church (24 N Main St, Princeton, IL 61356).
