He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Dempsky and Annette Dempsky (Carr); his wife Rachel "Rae" Dempsky; his sister Dorothy Dempsky; and his brother-in-law Luke Kawckynski.
He is survived by: his son David Dempsky (Carol) of Lockport, IL; his grandchildren, Sarah Musil (Rick), Kristen Kelly and Lauren Baldwin (Brian); and his sisters, Lucille Kawckynski and Marlene "Tina" Dempsky. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Local American Legion.
