She was predeceased by: her adoptive parents, Oscar Taylor and Margaret Taylor; and her former husband Lt. Jack Lanning. She is survived by: her children, Susan Smuda (James) of Albuquerque, NM, Lyle King of Sandy Springs, GA and Kenneth King (Sandra Simpson) of Newton, MA. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
