It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wagner of Princeton, Illinois, born in Sterling, Illinois, who passed away on January 9, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wagner and Bessie Wagner (Reckers); and his siblings, Doris Parker, Marie Boehm, James "Bud" Wagner, Robert "Bob" Wagner and Shirley Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Wagner of Princeton; his children, Brian Wagner of Dixon, Beckie Vacek (Todd) of Dixon, Jody Wagner-Hansen (Douglas) of Princeton, Mark Wagner (My) of Mesa, AZ and Melissa Wenger (Craig) of Dixon; his grandchildren, John, Nate, Alex, Natalie, Hannah, Nick, Emily, Avery, Whitney, Sarah, Mark Jr., Paige and Jacob; and his siblings, Walt Wagner (Jenny) of Dixon, Steve Wagner (Ellen) of Sterling and Linda Hines of Sterling. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
