It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Grossman (Princeton, Illinois), born in Bureau, Illinois, who passed away on August 3, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, G. Harold Andersen and Martha Andersen (Lantz); her husband Melvin W. Grossman; and her brother John H. Andersen (Jack). She is survived by: her children, Richard Grossman (Cynthia) of Lake Barrington, IL and Elaine Gotro (Jeff) of Dove Canyon, CA; her grandchildren, Dr. Erin Foster (Jeff), Lindsey Holmes, Emily Grossman, Steven Grossman and John Grossman (Emily Applegate); her great grandchildren, Parker Holmes, Caden and Kai Foster; her niece Carmen Sissel (Robert); and her cousin Gary Johnson (Charotte). She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Ohio First Lutheran Church, Rock River Hospice & Home, or a pet charity of your choice.
