He is survived by: his children, Dawna Proffitt of Henry, IL and Dwayne Proffitt (Jenine) of Tiskilwa, IL; his grandchildren, Michelle Rohal of Columbus, OH, Brandi Rohal of Cleveland, OH, Shaela Hayes of Cincinnati, OH, Brodrick Proffitt (Emma) of Wheeling, IL and Emma Proffitt of Ames, IA; and his siblings, Ethel Marie Holocomb of Pear Blossom, CA, Juanita Postlethwait of Marysville, OH, Thelma Proffitt of Tuscon, AZ, Ruby Hoffine of Plain City, OH, Carolyn Salyers of Marysville, OH, Donald Proffitt (Barb) of Hilo, HI, Wayne Proffitt (Terry) of Chatsworth, CA, RJ Proffitt of Kissimmee, FL, Sidney Proffitt and Georgia L. "Peach" Nickelson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
