He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Klingel and Ione Klingel (Bieser); and his father-in-law Dr. Neil Beckenhauer. He is survived by: his wife Sharron Klingel of Princeton, IL; his sons, Shawn Klingel (Julie) of Highlands Ranch, CO. and Greg Klingel (Christine) of East Wenatchee, WA; his grandchildren, Nora, Owen, Holden and Graham; his mother-in-law Dorris Beckenhauer of Manhattan, KS; his brother-in-law Dr. Dwane Beckenhauer (Rita) of Salina, KS; and his aunt Shirley Truex.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorials be directed to The Open Prairie United Church of Christ in Princeton, IL.
