He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Eklund and Oral Eklund (McCann); his siblings, Annabel Peterson (Floyd Peterson), Ralph "Bud" Ecklund (Edith), Phillip Eklund (Francis) and Leland Eklund; and his sister-in-law Helen Eklund.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Peterzen; his children, Michael Eklund (Adele) of Glendale, WI, Julie Schmitt of Irving, TX, David Eklund (Jeanine) of Naples, FL and Barbara Marella (Vincent) of Virginia Beach, VA.; and his brothers, Gene Eklund and Rolland Eklund (Mary). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
