It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane Kathryn Wampler (Princeton, Illinois), who passed away on August 27, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Pierson and Erma Pierson (Sutter); her husband Judge C. Howard Wampler; her great grandchild Kode Johnson; and her sister Marilyn Nye.

She is survived by: her children, Cindy Strader (Jerry) of Wyanet, IL., Chris Balensiefen (Joellen) of Wyanet, IL. and Calvin "Cal" Wampler (Tina) of Sebring, FL; and her grandchildren, Calvin Wampler, Leah Krenlich, Sarah Krenlich, Janelle Balensiefen, Stephanie Schwermin (Brad), Tina Karns (Les), Nicole Murphy (Mike) and Josh Nickelsen (Michelle).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the First Lutheran Church of Princeton, IL.
