He is survived by: his wife Patricia West Lane of Princeton, IL; his children, Mark Lane (Danielle) of Bartlett, IL, Kathy Long (Jim) of Manlius, Sandy Smith (Dan) of Princeton, IL and Jim Lane of Elgin, IL.; his grandchildren, Jacob, Michael, Ryan Lane, Jessica Varela (Juan), Matt Moman (Amber), Joshua Smith (Claire), Zachary Smith (Sylvie), Gabi Cope (Chad) and Christian Smith; his great grandchildren, Camille, Scarlett, Judah, Josiah, Joy, Jemma, Esme, Ames, Etta, Cristian, Alex, Dominic, Lucia, Dylan, Andrew and Tucker; his siblings, Roger Lane and Lorinne Lunde; and his siblings-in-law, Tom West and Karen Nelson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
