He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Robert, Irene Eckdahl, Walter and Shirley Nelson; his stepfather Larry Kerrick; and his pet Jetta.
He is survived by: his parents, Richard Eckdahl (Tina) and Rosalie Kerrick; his sons, Joseph and Aaron Eckdahl of Manhattan, Kansas; his stepdaughter Kaitlyn Cutright of Manhattan, Kansas; and his aunts and uncles, Edith Allison of Dawson Springs, Mary Skinner of Calamus, Iowa, Roger Eckdahl (Elaine) of Loves Park and Walt Nelson (Rose) of Wyanet, Illinois.
Memorials may be directed to his family for funeral and burial expenses.
