It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cody Dean Yelm (Princeton, Illinois), born in Perry, Illinois, who passed away on September 19, 2019, at the age of 26, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Sarah Genevieve Yelm and Edward G. Story; and his stepgrandfather Jerry Anthony. He is survived by: his pet Caydi; his parents, Curtis and Charlotte Yelm of Pingree Grove, IL; his grandparents, Shirley J Anthony of Princeton, IL and Roland "Dean" Yelm of Princeton, IL; his stepgrandfather Thomas Thiele of St. Petersburg, FL; his uncle Charlie Yelm (Collette) of Princeton, IL; his aunts, Shelly Christiansen (Steve) of Mapleton, IL and Kimberly Bock (John); and his cousins, Katie Sayler (Mike), Michael Yelm (Whitney), Tyler Christiansen (Teal), Ryan Christiansen and Tory Christiansen. He is also survived by cousins, great aunts.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to; Make a Wish Foundation of Illinois and Hampshire Colony Congregational Church in Princeton, IL.
