It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl VanWaes of Princeton, Illinois, who passed away on January 22, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Ahrendt and Lorraine Ahrendt (Denbow). She is survived by: her children, Janet Spanos, Jill Cumpton, Michael Schaefer and Amber Burress (Andrew); her brothers, Larry and Wayne Ahrendt; and her grandchildren, Taryn, Austin, Brittney, Tori, Bailey, Cody, Hannah, Dylan, Kennedy, Kayne and Charley. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
