He was predeceased by: his brother Michael Monier. He is survived by: his parents, Steve Monier and Cecilia Monier Jortz; his sons, Jacob Monier of Dixon, IL and Eli Monier of Dixon, IL; his stepparents, Shelly Monier of Princeton, IL and Jim Jortz of Wisconsin; his brothers, Joe Monier (Stephanie) and Chris Monier (Tiffany); and his uncle Randy Handson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for charitable distribution.
