She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Amanda Halberg and Reuben Halberg; her husband Henry "Corky" Hansen; and her sons, Donald (Debra) of Rochelle, IL, Rodney (Kim) of Wyanet, IL and Scott (Georgia) of Ankeny, IA. She was also cherished by eleven great-grandchildren.
