He is survived by: his wife Amy Harp of Princeton; his children, Drew of Princeton, IL, Ellie of Princeton, IL and Sophie of Princeton, IL; his father Vernon Harp, Jr. (Tammy) of Rockford, IL; his parents-in-law, Larry and Kathy Anderson of Walnut, IL; his brothers, Bryan Harp (Katie) of Batavia, IL and Brock Harp (Jillian) of Earlville, IL; his cousin Bret Harp (Beth) of Rockford, IL; his sister Brooke Harp of Rockford, IL; his brother-in-law David Anderson (Tina) of Ohio, IL; and his stepfather Charles Peterson of Walnut, IL.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Walnut community Bible church.
