He was predeceased by: his daughter Monica Lynn Bland; his goddaughter Amy Hanna; his parents, William Dexter Bland and Elsie Marie Bland (Phillips); and his siblings, Harold, David, Paul, Hank, Levi, John, Glenn, Margaret, Dorothy, Elsie, Mary Alice and Jenny.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Banka, Grampy and Nate; his wife Judy Marie Fritz of Princeton, IL; his daughters, Margo Cartwright (Fred) of Princeton and Michelle Mosier of Princeton; his grandchildren, Emma Proffitt (Brodi) of Mokena, IL, Nathan Mosier and Jacklynn Cartwright of Princeton; his goddaughter Rachel Curtis; and his sister Bonnie Biggin (Ken). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
