With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Wilma E. Braasch of Prairietown, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Wilma may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Wilma touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Meyer and Julia Meyer (Koenig); her son Donald Braasch; her son-in-law Jerry Werner; and her brothers, Wilbur Meyer and Lester Meyer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Nappi (Tony) of Cape Elizabeth and Brenda Werner of Prairietown, IL; and her daughter-in-law Sandy Braasch of Hudson, IL. She is also survived by five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; & one great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (7183 Renken Rd, Dorsey, IL 62021). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to either St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Prairietown, IL or to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
