He is survived by: his sons, Dylan Welshans Prairie (Cassie Oakley) and Colin Welshans Waterloo (Danyelle); his grandchildren, Cole and Hadley Welshans; his siblings, Melanie, Jeff (Pam) and Vena; and his close friends, Dennis and Cindy Kempfer Prairie.
