With heavy hearts, we announce the death of LaVerne R. Proctor of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, born in Waterloo, Illinois, who passed away on December 18, 2022 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of LaVerne R. Proctor to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Roy R. Proctor Sr.; her grandson Logan Proctor; her parents, Frank H. Kolmer and Cecilia M. Kolmer; and her siblings, Robert Kolmer (Dorothy) and Esther Schoenborn (John).

She is survived by: her children, Roy Proctor (Alice), Verllyn Proctor (Irene), Kathy Martel (Andre), Jean Oettle (Lannie), Cindy Schmid (Craig), Leon Proctor (Karen) and Lynda Hofstetter (Scott). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; nieces; nephew; and cousins.
