He was predeceased by: his father Elvin James "Jim" Hulsey; and his brother Donnie Hulsey. He is survived by: his mother Mary Lou Hulsey (Haas) of Attica; his fiancé Chennelle Duckworth of Potomac, IL; his children, Brandon Hulsey, Elvin Hulsey of Potomac, IL, Arlene Hulsey of Potomac, IL and Malia Hulsey of Potomac, IL; and his siblings, Elton Hulsey (Debbie), Debbie Dotson (Randy), Pauline Scott (Raymond) and Patricia Rasnic (David).
