It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vickie Loy Anderson in Port Byron, Illinois, born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on January 19, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Chandler and Winnie Chandler; her sister Cathie Fane; and her nephew Michael Fane. She is survived by: her son Dr. Brian Anderson; her daughter-in-law Holly Smith-Anderson; and her grandchildren, Emma and Grayson Anderson.
Memorials may be made to the Black Hawk College Foundation for the Vickie L. Anderson Scholarship fund for nursing students.
