He is survived by: his wife Trudy; his son Steve Bergland (Grace) of East Moline; his grandchildren, Jacob, Stephanie, Zachary Bergland, Cory, Cody Ruark and Reid Fontenoy; and his brother Norman Bergland (Susan) of Moline. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
